CT Advanced Manufacturing Initiative (CAMI)

CAMI is a federal grant designed to help dislocated and underemployed workers. Classes begin in January and there is FULL tuition assistance for eligible participants! Manufacturing is the 4th largest hiring sector in the state of Connecticut, making skilled workers one of the most sought after. For workers with experience in manufacturing, it presents an opportunity to modernize your skill sets, making you more attractive to employers in today's job market. If you're new to manufacturing, the AMMT certificate from NVCC (Naugatuck Community College) may be a perfect fit! This certificate program results in 34 college credits with courses including: Blue Print Reading, Metrology, Machining, CAD and more!
