Building Pathways Connecticut offers the only certified pre-apprenticeship program in the state, and its certification is accepted and supported by all the Connecticut Building Trades. They are responsible for all phases of program operation, including in-person interviews, drug screenings, training and candidate referrals.
Building Pathways Connecticut serves to create opportunities such as apprenticeships and careers in the building trade for disadvantaged and low-skilled area residents, and helps to build the construction industries workforce pipeline. The organization addresses the need for talent in the construction industry while opening career pathways to women, minorities, and veterans. Building pathways has grown into a nationally recognized model for addressing training and inclusivity in the construction industry.
