9/18/2012 - 2012 Connecticut Conservation Corps Employment Program Winds Down
The Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board recruited for a 13-week jobs program which taught participants light construction, brush clearing, tree trimming and trail and foot-bridge building. Successful applicants were transported to one of four area state parks, ranging from Kettletown State Park in Southbury to Kent Falls State Park in Kent, each day by van.
As it comes to an end, we would like to congratulate those participants who successfully completed the program.
Enclosed you will find photos from their work experience over the summer.
